cameralabs mates, check up on this video, you really are noobs i’d say :D

nice video

Love your review!

I think the D40 is a much better camera but the A200 is still good i just like the D40 more

I really enjoyed your video octogenerian! Thanks for teaching me a little about the world of slr photography.

Well that all depends on what you want to shoot with it and what lens you’re looking at. Nikon make a nice 70-300mm VR lens which works very well as an all-rounder. F-stio changes depending on how much zoom you use which changes the depth of field.

you should have got the sony a200

nice video, thanks.

yes u should

look at the size of the sensors on all these digital cameras. THere all crap

hi great video, What do you think of the zoom on this camera with the kit lens which i believe is 55mm, and should i buy the 200mm lens?

very well then. keep making the good vids man.

As they say in boxing: it’s a draw.

I read that they are mostly the same image wise, but cmos has better battery management, and faster speed

is this good for panning?

Interesting comment. I checked it out. One web side states CCD sensors are of higher quality and more pixels. While CMOS much less expensive and almost as good as CCD.

not the best thing in the world, especially with that ccd sensor

Resolution matters only when you want to make poster size prints. People with high resolution cameras will brag but you will have a Nikon SLR.

It must be great to get away from it all and fish in beautiful and serene surroundings.

does the resolution will make a probelm someday?

lionthroupe: no you can not see effects through the viewfinder as it comes straight from the lens, you can see through through the lens when the camera is off

Thanks this helped alot. I just got it a few days ago after watching your review

what a legend!

i juz gt my d40 2day! looking foward 2 taking gd pictures

Yes, the D40 does sepia.
