lol the holidays are over
Most portrait studios will take your pet’s picture. You can have them make your holiday cards or have them give you a disk with your pictures on it and order them online. You can also take pictures yourself with a digital camera, and then take the pictures to a store or website and have them create the cards.
lighting is the most important aspect of photography. if you don’t have a mounted flash for your camera, take the photos outside. take pics from several different angles. this ensures that you get the ‘best side’ of the animal. better chance of getting a good expression, also.
lighting outside: sun on half of face, fill flash from the front. or, sun behind (and high), and fill flash from the front. if the animal startles w/ the flash, take the pictures in full shade.
1. Get a cooperative pet.
2. Put pet in a holiday setting, like a sleigh, in the show, wearing a scarf, building a snowman, etc.
3. Take about a hundred pictures and choose one.
4. See number 1.
